At PEI Trade, our mission is to bring the best of Egypt’s agriculture to markets around the world. Among the standout fruits in our export portfolio is the Galia Cantaloupe.
Known for its sweet taste, distinctive aroma, and consistent quality, this melon variety is a staple for importers and distributors who demand both flavor and reliability.
By combining traditional farming expertise with advanced supply chain logistics, we ensure that every shipment of Galia Cantaloupes meets the highest global standards.
Galia Cantaloupes are a hybrid melon variety developed for both resilience and trade efficiency. They are widely recognized in wholesale markets due to their appearance, durability, and strong post-harvest performance.
Thanks to their post-harvest durability, Galia Cantaloupes are suited for long-distance shipping, making them a preferred choice for importers who require steady supply with minimal losses.
Egypt’s climate and farming cycles provide an extended production window for Galia Cantaloupes, allowing PEI Trade to maintain a reliable supply schedule.
This extended season enables international buyers to secure shipments even when other producing regions are off-season, ensuring competitive advantage in their markets.

Our Galia Cantaloupes are carefully graded and typically range between 0.8 and 1.5 kilograms per fruit, depending on buyer requirements and market preferences.
The main harvest season runs from April to July, with extended availability depending on regional cultivation and weather conditions. This allows us to supply cantaloupes during periods when other producing countries are off-season.
We pack our cantaloupes in ventilated corrugated cartons, commonly holding 6, 8, or 10 fruits per box, with net weights ranging from 4 to 10 kilograms. Customized packaging, including branded cartons and retail-ready formats, is also available upon request.
All shipments undergo strict pre-cooling, grading, and cold chain handling. The cantaloupes are loaded into refrigerated containers with controlled ventilation, ensuring freshness and stability during long sea voyages.
We operate under internationally recognized certifications, including Global GAP, ISO-compliant processes, and official phytosanitary certification for all shipments.
PEI Trade exports exclusively by sea freight to ensure cost efficiency and reliability for large-volume orders. Refrigerated containers preserve quality during transit to all major global destinations.
Our Galia Cantaloupes are exported to markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, where steady demand and competitive availability make them a strategic product for wholesale networks, supermarkets, and distributors.
